Among the most successful managaka of the new generation of Weekly Shonen Jump we find Yuki Tabata. The author of the hit Black cloverhe told the readers his personal story: from the first children’s drawings to the jobs in high school.

since he was a child Tabata loved to draw, especially the Dragon Ball characters. He later found out about Shonen Jump and decided he wanted it to pursue a career as a mangaka. Decades later, his dream has come true. It’s not the first time that Tabata tells us about her life. Previously, the Black Clover writer revealed his relationship with tears.
In his youth, the author believed that being able to draw would be enough to become a mangaka. His first attempts, made for sheer personal gratification, were gods Drawings in the manga style of Dragon Ball and YuYu Hakusho.
When he was in middle school, he bought his first set of materials for illustration of manga, but his experience with these professional objects was nothing short of disastrous. Frustrated, he wondered what the secret of becoming a mangaka was.
After that, he suggested for a competition for Shonen Jump. Day and night, alternating with school lessons, he worked to create the manga that would be sent to the competition. With great effort, he finally succeeded in submitting his work to the magazine.
Between the ages of 13 and 14, Tabata was excited to see the results. However, it failed, which angered him and made him think again. Another 6 months he worked on another mini-piece to submit it for the next competition. He was thrown again, although he was only a step away from the goal.
Eventually, 16-year-old Tabata received one Call from the Shonen Jump office and struck up a conversation with the person who later became his first editor. The mangaka has revealed that he will continue to tell his story.
