The story is about Iruma Suzuki, a 14-year-old boy who is sold to a demon by his parents. The demon, known as Sullivan, brings Iruma to the demon world and adopts him as his grandson. He enlists Iruma in the “Babyls” school for devils, where he is the headmaster. At his new school, Iruma quickly befriends the demons Alice Asmodeus and Clara Valac. However, Sullivan tells him that he must never reveal that he is human, otherwise he will be eaten by anyone who finds out. Iruma is then sworn to secrecy, although he can’t help but attract more and more attention during his stay.
