After a seven-year hiatus, Mobile Suit Gundam returns with a new anime series. During a streaming event, the first trailer of Gundam: The Witch of Mercurythe first series in the franchise with a female protagonist.
The Witch From Mercury will bring Gundams back to the small screen, from which they’ve been absent since the end of Iron-Blooded Orphans. For Bandai Namco Entertainment’s Chief Gundam Officer, this will be “a series that the new generations will also appreciate” and that it will bring unprecedented developments.
