The fourth season of attack on Titan, and in particular the last season, is characterized by a continuum of twists, surprises and fundamental information to better understand the vast universe conceived by Hajime Isayama. For the implementation, however, the directors involved not only referred to the original manga, but also to other works.
Although the MAPPA studio is once again accused of poor working conditions, after director Teruyuki Omine returned home after three days due to a deadline, the working environment seems quite stimulating from a creative point of view. This emerges from recent statements by Yuichiro Hayashi, director of the fourth seasonwho, in an interview, spoke freely about the adventure that would give birth to such an awaited anime.
During the meeting he also focused on the way they decided to live out the visions of the past and the memories shown in episode 78, Elder Brothers and Lesser Brothers. As stated in the post below, with the addition of comparison images, The inspiration came from the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey. From the images, the kaleidoscopic depiction of Eren’s entry into the path is apparent, but Kubrick’s film helped the writers produce a soundtrack that befits this type of atmosphere, which is mysterious and unsettling.
Finally we leave you the video preview of the 4×25 episode of Attack on Titan.
