On the official site for the anime adaptation of the sports manga, written and illustrated by Yuugo Kobayashi, Ao Ashi, the first promotional video of the project was released. Kobayashi started publishing the manga in the magazine Great cartoon ghosts from the publisher Shogakukan in January 2015. In April 2020 the work had more than 4.5 million copies in circulation. The manga was nominated for the tenth Manga Taisho Award in 2017 and took fourth place. Summary of Ao Ashi
Ashito Aoi, a third year high school student from Ehime, meets Tatsuya Fukuda, a coach of the J Youth League.
