On the official page for the next multimedia project from Kadokawa, the studies TMS entertainment and the company Sammy Corporation, HIGH CARD, a new promo video has been posted. The video introduces the lead vocals and announces the release of a drama CD slated for December 3rd in Japan, which will open the whole story of the play.
The project is described as follows: «“HIGH CARD” is a project that describes the activities of young people who have the task of collecting “exclusion cards” that give them different skills. The original story was written by Homura Kawamoto of Kakegurui, Hikaru Muno, who worked on the novel of “Kakegurui,” and TMS Entertainment, who produced the anime series “Lupine the Third” and “Detective Conan”.».

Summary of Kakegurui
The Hyakkaou Private Academy is a school for the privileged and influential that welcomes the children of business people and politicians. Unlike other schools, however, Hyakkaou’s students do not pride themselves on their academic achievements. Instead, they value strategic skill and the ability to read people. As night falls, many of the on-campus venues transform into gambling centers overseen by the Student Council, where gamblers battle for rank, money, and more.
Ryouta Suzui spends his days as a “pet,” a student in the bottom hundred who is forced to serve his peers. Her circumstances soon change when a mysterious transfer student, Yumeko Jabami, arrives at the academy. Despite Suzui’s warnings, Yumeko quickly dives into the school game scene and faces various high-profile opponents. His exploits attract the attention of the student council members who interfere in his affairs. Suzui tries her best to keep Yumeko out of trouble, but, to her annoyance, turns out to be the most suitable person to help Hyakkaou: a compulsive gambler.
