This review about Princess Connect! Re: Dive 2 contains spoilers. If you haven’t seen the chapters, we encourage you to do so and then come back to read the review.

Yuuki and Kokkoro went shopping and met Aoi, who asks for her help as she transfers to St. Theresa’s Academy for Girls in Landosol. And although months have passed since then, he could not appear. Her problem, however, is that she was called by one of the senpai the preeminent of the academy, so Yuuki and Kokkoro accompany her as members of the “bb team“.
The meeting place would be in a library called “the ivory tower‘ where they meet Yuni, a student at the academy and the person who called Aoi. After they introduce themselves and Yuni eats “sodium chloride-soaked cereal with pickled plums,” she mentions to them that she’s working on a thesis on “the fundamental untruths that embitter the world.” Shortly thereafter, Chieru, a freshman, and Chloe, a sophomore, arrive. Coming to the main theme, that the three Aois want help to lead them to the Forestier forest to solve the mystery of the “Green Wardens“.
Aoi, Uni, Chieru and Chole meet the ‘Gourmet Guild‘ in the forest, since they will accompany her. Entering the dark forest, they find a graveyard, which Aoi sees for the first time. After doing some research and finding the tomb of the king of Krelenos, they leave. Uni is in thick fog and introduces them to Rosetta, a stone on which she has installed virtual consciousness that gives them their location, among other functions. But in that moment, they discover they are back in the same graveyard, with Rosetta undergoing a change that terrifies everyone, and they run.
Run into some silhouettes in the fog, separating from Aoi along the way. So they look for her in two groups. Finding them and discovering that those silhouettes were of othersMy friends‘ from Aoi and that she was always fine, she was just trying to hide her secret of loneliness. However, they also encounter skeletons, including that of the King of Krelenos, who, after showing them his memories, is relieved of his “suffering” by Pecorine’s words.

Friendship Club Guild
In Princess Connect! Re: Dive 2 – Chapter 3 introduced us to three new characters who introduce themselves as “the great Yunis” or “the best friends club‘, but in English they are referred to as members of the ‘Guild Friendship Club‘, so I will use them as belonging to the ‘guild club the friendship“. This is Uni, Chloe and Chieru.
Yuni is a petite looking girl, but at 18 (yes, a ‘legal loli‘) who is obsessed with taking notes. Honestly, apart from the character’s loli appearance, I really like her personality. Her fascination with knowledge leads her to show funny facets, which I like to see and I remember the sentence: «It’s terrible, I love it». For me, he’s one of those people I could talk to who I wouldn’t get bored of easily, even if I can’t follow the conversation. At least not as easily as other characters who end up annoying with a similar personality.
the seiyu Yunis is konomi kohara, who gave voice to characters like the following: Chika Fujiwara (“Kaguya-sama: Love is a war“), Roxy Migurdia (“Muchoku Tensei“), Akane Mizuno (“Tsuki ga Kirei“), Hibino mine (“Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san“), among other.

Chloe, a sophomore, is a 17 year old elf with a personality of tomboy and touches of gyaru, making it my favorite of the “Friendship Club Guild“. And although at first glance she seems a little “aggressive and cynical”, I have a feeling that she is one of those people who are gentle and kind, but end up looking different due to misunderstandings.
the seiyu that gives Chloe a voice Atsumi Tanezaki, who also did it with: Chise Hatori (“Mahoutsukai no Yome“), Skadi Dragenfelt (“Monster Musume no Oishasan“), Satowa Houzuki (“Kono Oto Tomare!“), Futaba River (“Seishun Buta Yarou“), Miu Amano (“Mixture S“), etc. By the way, he also gave a voice to cartoon characters hentai or classification productions +18, for example, Maina Ooizumi (“idol sister“).

Finally, the youngest member, only 16 years old, Chieru, showed an active and cheerful personality that reminds me of Pecorine. Likewise, it leads me to believe that this is being used as a mask to try to hide his true state of mind. It’s my least favorite of the three, but not so much that I hate it or resent the character. I just feel like I would get along a lot better with the other two than I did with Chieru.
Ayane Sakura is the seiyu responsible for giving Chieru a voice. Other papers of seiyu are: Ochako Uraraka (“boku no hero academy“), tomoe (“Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu“), saki saki (“Kanojo mo Kanojo“), Shirokusa Kachi (“Osama“), Yotsuba Nakano (“Gotoubun no Hanayome“), Iroha Isshiki (“Yahari Ore no Seishun romantic comedy starring Machigatteiru“), among many others.

In general I find themFriendship Club Guild‘ has among its members people who find it difficult to properly connect with others. Whether it’s because of other priorities or misunderstandings, they all have a reason. And not just because of the social difference that they enter by attending the St. Theresa Academy. Everyone lives their own “loneliness” in their own way, and this club helps them face their condition before they “craziness‘.
types of loneliness
Princess Connect! Re: Dive 2 – Chapter 3 had as a central theme in the plot the “lonliness‘, interpreted differently but similar between them. Aoi and Uni “protected” themselves using inanimate objects as props, but they ended up becoming something special to them. Even if his style “end up alone” was different.
For my part, and as I have already mentioned, I think that Chole and Chieru are also affected by a state of loneliness. While Chloe thinks it’s because of misunderstanding, I have a feeling Chieru might have it because of jealousy. For example, “pretty” caught the attention of boys, which made other girls jealous and spawned her own.lonliness‘.
However, they are joined by two other characters, Pecorine and the King of Krelenos. Both are forced to be separated from their loved ones. While the King lost everything when attacked, Pecorine did so due to possible tricks and memory manipulation. For this very reason, I think Pecorine was the one who understood and understood the king’s skeleton Princess Connect! Re: Dive 2 – Chapter 3, finding the necessary words for him to rest.

basic untruths
Although the plot of the characters from Princess Connect! Re: Dive 2 – Chapter 3 was mainly focused on “Loneliness”, I think Yuni’s thesis carries much more weight in the general plot of the story than it seems at first glance. It is worth remembering that in past chapters and already in the first season it has been shown that the plot in a way involves the downfall of a world that Yuuki would be connected to.
In any case, both Yuni’s thesis and his conclusions only allow for the unknown to create further theories. With the hypothesis of having seen an event in another plane. A parallel world/universe where the kingdom of Krelenos existed. And where I imagined it could be the same world that was shown in the flashbacks by Yuki. The place where the “hero‘ could not be saved.
Society would not necessarily believe it even if they had evidence of the “truth” or the existence of a “lie‘. As the current world of Princess Connect! Re: Dive 2 one in which the scientific community didn’t believe in Yuni’s hypothesis, but maybe they will with him”specified topic“. A hero for example.

Uni accepted that proving the truth wasn’t her job, but it didn’t affect her negatively either, as she accomplished her goal. Waiting for “specified topic” Reach your goal of ‘truth‘.
A much deeper plot than I expected. Mainly because I don’t feel like I was the one who had the greatest impact in the episode. I hope this marks more meaning in the development of the plot of Princess Connect! Re: Dive 2 in the future, even if it’s not near.
