Episode 11: Track 11 I AM THE RESURRECTION
We start episode eleven of Listeners in Gnome with Roz watching how all the Earless get out of control for no reason, while at the same time in Brighton Beach Mu or as he calls himself now King of the Earless appears and gives the warning that in 7 days chaos would fall on earth and the darkness then disappeared. Denka launches a campaign in favor of love for everyone, including the Earless, later Roz joins him as does Bilin and Kevin. Together they come up with a plan that stitched together all the Equipment’s Core Part so that they can have even a small chance against her and Jimi’s Equipment and be able to stop the Listener.
In Liverchester the mayor almost died after the portal Jimi disappeared ten years ago was opened, Mu prevents the mayor from being crushed and right after they all unite their power and attack her with a blow that should have been withering but it didn’t pass. So. The attack was a failure and they only managed to make Mu finish transforming himself into the King of the Earless or at least that seems to be taking into account that there is no longer anything that reflects Mu. Echo appears in his own Equipment.
Is Mu still here?
I do not know if Mu is still in that body but I know that if anyone can find out, that is Echo, brave and more determined than ever to present himself with his Equipment, proving to be a character that despite having a soft and gentle character, he is completely loyal and able to do whatever it takes. Her way of being for Mu has returned from this attempt to save her, one more demonstration that Mu should not be afraid to be herself with him and that no matter what she discovers of herself he will love her the same.
For their part, at least so far, they are convinced that they want to help save Mu before continuing to make the mistakes of ten years ago, this time they are willing to try something different if necessary in order to save the world from destruction. that the King of the Earless promises. Kevin for his part seems that all this time he was only waiting for the opportunity not to repeat the same mistake and to be with Bilin until the end regardless of the result.
As for Bilin, there was never the doubt that he would do, it is clear that he feels responsible for how things turned out after his first meeting with Echo and Mu and although he wants to save her, Bilin is willing to end her if necessary. Although Echo is not alone, Roz considers Mu a friend and will do everything in his power to save them both.
Final comment
The guys in their quest touched the hearts of many of the people who can make a difference now so even though at this point it seems the cause is lost I am sure that at least one of the two will be able to move on. The entry of Echo is just in time before hell breaks loose and as already demonstrated there is nothing stronger than its Equipment. However, we know that for Mu there is no one more important than Echo, so we hope that this will at least give them a chance.
I hope it may be so because if the alternative does not end in tragedy and a possible bittersweet ending, we know the reasons; he was the first person to trust her and follow her despite the fact that neither she knew or had any idea of who she could be and in turn she, for him, has been willing to give up even the only thing she knows about herself in order to save her life to Echo. But hey, beyond these romantic questions I have the question, why the Equipment does not look different now that Echo is using it? I don’t know if this could mean something important but I don’t think it’s an accident.
