Chapter 6: Culture Festival
the cultural festival It’s important to do a good rehearsal without anyone making a mistake is a priority to make everything right, if they make a mistake they have to help each other to solve the problem that happens with Nishikata and Takagi, although it was thought she wanted him to get in touch. There are various activities at the same festival, since the House of Horrors is a conspicuous one, Nishikata calls Takagi there for a new confrontation, unsuccessful for the boy. There is also an eating contest that Kimura and Yukari participate in; The cafe girls are very relevant, especially when it is men who participate. Finally, the big conclusion is the play, a free adaptation of Romeo and Julietin which Kimura and Takagi will shine, although the former has to go in the end and Takagi’s true prince, Nishikata, relents.
chapter opinion
It was a pretty normal chapter for me, at least until the play I thought would have had more time, but no, and that’s ok, those few minutes were enough to make me scream and cry at the same time (something so happy can be so sad). In general, I have the feeling that the picture quality has deteriorated. there wasn’t openingwhat is fine and the end It was beautiful, to see Takagi singing is just wonderful. I don’t have much to comment on this part, I will comment on more things below. It was just a proper chapter with a very “I want more!” ending.

Essays
Obviously they had to rehearse and something had to happen, something that resulted in a mini spoiler or a hint of what would happen later because Nishikata asked Takagi to see himself on the roof and what we see shoujo We know what that means, plus the same manga that Nishikata likes refers to it: a confession. Takagi already knew she would ask him to rehearse, although since she’s toying with his mind she assumed he would think she would assume he would confess (all mixed up, like Nishikata herself). In the end nothing happens, at least not for this moment…
scary house
The horror house is something very typical that we see in these animes, as well as the dare in a forest. But here we have reached another point, our forehead is less subtle, almost not subtle at all, he says things to her, mumbling, but he says them. He acts like he doesn’t understand anything and like “I didn’t say anything” with that stoic face, the truth is that it’s believable. The challenge changed to what she wanted, which was to walk through this place with him. And if you’re wondering, “How did Takagi know where Nishikata was?” the answer is simple: a wizard did it. No, lie, it was the power of love.
Seriously, she’s revealed it in the previous chapters, she knows everything about him.

The others
This season showed me that secondary school is less participating. The exclusive sub-chapters of the trio of friends have been reduced in time, next to the other subplots of the other children in love, they don’t come out that much anymore as they are already resolved and it would be very repetitive. Although they knew how to do it this time with the male maid cafe, heterosexuality is really seen there. On the other hand, this season these sections are much more related to the protagonists, for example the food competition that leads to Kimura and his stomach problem. Or about the girls from the last chapter, which culminated in the choice of the play.
These sidekicks lose individual relevance but gain it on a plot level as they are important in the relationship that develops between the purest children in anime.

Play
I want to get to the point and break it down. HOW BEAUTIFUL!! Too much, Kimura, although unintentionally wanting, becomes more GOD, save everything. Everything went well at work, there were no mistakes (really congratulations to the seiyu Rie Takahashi changing the voice for the piece). Only the grand finale, the only difference and the only mistake was in the finale where Kimura has to go to the toilet and leaves the rest to Nishikata. This kid improvises great despite being stunned and tells her what Takagi wanted to hear and she mentions what she’s always wanted to say “since I met you in the spring”. That hug wasn’t theatrical, it was taken advantage of by Takagi due to the situation, it was a hug of love, I can finally tell you what I wanted to tell you, I can finally show you my feelings.
And karaoke is the last thing, only Takagi has already told him and Nishikata has already understood. And if he really didn’t get the season, he’s going downhill. Let’s hope that the protagonist acts according to his knowledge, because if he does, this second part of the season will be very interesting.
