Slime Taoshite 300-nen, Shiranai Uchi ni Level Max and Nattemashita – Chapter 9: My daughter can’t stop being a slime
Azusa’s quiet morning is disturbed by the angry Shalsha, who asks for help as Falfa has turned into a slime. Since Azusa does not know the reason for Falfa’s shapeshift or normalizes her again, Azusa calls Beelzebub for her help. Although the demons know more information about monsters, they cannot help him. But he recommends you check out the Smart Slime in Schloss Vanzerd. After getting lost through the confusing corridors of the castle and managing to return to the surface, they encounter the Intelligent Slime with the help of Pecora. Who recommends you to visit the Slime Maga on the highest mountain in Tomuriana.
After a break, Azusa, Laika, Beelzebub and the transformed Falfa arrive at Slime Maga’s house. With which they succeed in finding out the cause of the transformation of Falfa. However, she can’t help them get them back to normal, but recommends that they go on the fighting slime to do this. So they finally travel south to Kerney for a martial arts tournament in which Slilucha had participated. If Beelzebub and Azusa are doing the same thing to demonstrate his power, it could serve to convince them if necessary.
Over the course of the rounds, Azusa beat her opponents with ease and hoped to face Slilucha in the tournament finals. However, Beelzebub defeated them in the semifinals, so the final would be a showdown between the demon and the witch. Azusa had no motivation to face them in the final but decides to do so after Falfa bounces back thanks to Slilucha and Beelzebub who managed to convince them. Despite being unable to use magic and being banned from the tournament, Azusa manages to defeat Beelzebub.
Show your strength
On previous episodesAzusa had always maintained the attitude of not showing her strength in order to keep her life peaceful. However in Slime Taoshite 300-nen, Shiranai Uchi ni Level Max and Nattemashita – Chapter 9 did it subconsciously. That made me very happy, as it showed how the character is increasingly adapting to her role as a mother, ready to do anything for her daughters, even if she has to “break” some of her rules of life.
However, this detail isn’t what caught my attention the most Slime Taoshite 300-nen, Shiranai Uchi ni Level Max and Nattemashita – Chapter 9, but it was the plot of this ‘arc’ about the transformation of Falfa into Slime. So far the race is the Slimes she was the one with the least information about the Elves of Halcara. Although the Slimes You have a big role in the series. They are the most important and only method Azusa has used to reach his current level.
But as the plot of the ‘bow’ progressed Slime Taoshite 300-nen, Shiranai Uchi ni Level Max and Nattemashita – Chapter 9 I felt there were several loopholes that I would have liked to learn more about. Basically, I felt like too many scenes were left out, some perhaps more important than others that were adjusted. For example, I would have preferred Falfa to return to normal sooner than the scene Fan service from Azusa’s bathroom and her two daughters. Especially since they, apart from the fact that they again demonstrated Shalsha’s concern and fear for the situation of their older sister, not closer to that Slimes.
The reason Falfa was transforming was already somewhat absurd, so he expected an equally absurd solution. Whether Slilucha is shown stretching Falfa or terrifying her, either option could keep the comedy in the series and be more interesting for the “Arch” plot.
While I acknowledge that the story has taken a slightly more dramatic turn in this “arc”, I find that it was not well executed. It didn’t have as much depth as I think they tried to give, nor did it keep its classic comedy touch in every situation. On top of the fact that I felt this story had to cover more than one episode (although not enough to make two full chapters), I think that this “flaw”, if you can look at it that way, was in this animated adaptation and not in the original story.
Forms of slimes
The premise of knowing different types of Slimes on Slime Taoshite 300-nen, Shiranai Uchi ni Level Max and Nattemashita – I found Chapter 9 quite interesting. However, the characters in this episode left a lot to be desired for me. Again because of the background of them. For example, when I listened to the Smart Slime, I imagined that it would be able to speak and write in the language of other races while maintaining its slime form. Something like Rimuru storm (TenSura) at the beginning of his series. Altering one’s body to mimic / assimilate humanoid limbs, but always maintain one’s state mucus.
For her part, Slime Maga, I imagined her as someone who is in constant physical change. Use different spells to be different races. Everything to go unnoticed. Similar to the case of ‘Ben 10,000“In which, when I didn’t see it for a few seconds, it was already a different species. Maybe I had too many expectations for the Slime Maga, but I don’t see that it was impossible to do it that way Slime Taoshite 300-nen, Shiranai Uchi ni Level Max and Nattemashita.
Finally the fighting slime, the truth is that I imagined them to be quite similar aesthetically, maybe with a slightly rougher personality. What he expected most of her, however, was her origins, for he wanted to see a reason why she was able to take on human form. Can he also use magic? How did you get into martial arts?
Of course, I won’t deny that his performance was the funniest Slimes. Especially his match against Beelzebub, it was the scene / moment that made me laugh the most Slime Taoshite 300-nen, Shiranai Uchi ni Level Max and Nattemashita – Chapter 9. My most beautiful moment, however, was without a doubt when Azusa wore Beelzebub as a princess. He had a feeling that something was going to happen that would show the Highland Witch in her “heartbreaker” mode (as she did with the Kabedon to Pecora) but I still couldn’t prepare to live that moment. I honestly believed that this situation was due to something Azusa said to Beelzebub, a rather “passive” situation.
