Chapter 3: Too Much to Take
Hiiragi wants Iroha to be saved from the memorial museum rumors. So Kuroe and Yachiyo went and found them, but reality changed when they were trapped in Iroha’s dream. It looks better, but Yachiyo does not accept it and is looking for a way to wake up Iroha, which he showed his sister in the hospital but was not in human form. Kuroe spends time with the girl with the pink hair, compassionately, until the question about the sister comes up and everything gets out of hand. The two intruders fight him Double of Tamaki, who wins and saves her and cries in the end. Meanwhile Madoka is done.
Chapter opinion
I suppose they moved forward because of the idea that was raised, but they brought back a very important new rumor (although I may be wrong because I can’t remember hearing it before) which is the one about the Memorial Museum, that, according to Hiiragi, Iroha did something, very probably related to his sister, of whom we don’t know anything except for the last few minutes of the first chapter, which make me think so much. It was a good chapter exploring Iroha’s mind a little, it’s not that the exploration is that deep, but it’s useful to better understand how she thinks about her sister.

Another rumor
I mentioned it in the previous section, but it seems to me that it deserves its own space. Hiiragi mentions this rumor at the beginning of the chapter, at first she seems to be talking to someone and then she shows herself to be talking to herself. Maybe two times, first the favor Kuroe asked, and then the current one. The point, however, is that it mentions the rumor about the Museo Memoria which, as you will recall, has not been mentioned before. It seems like something very mysterious or a rumor that is little expanded but very strong. Perhaps his ability doesn’t make people remember him, which makes sense as everything indicates that such a rumor is the culprit in Iroha’s blackouts. And from what we know from the first part of the anime, rumors have power and effect on people, whether they are magical girls or normal.
Very sure, when Iroha regains his memory, which is the most predictable, something else will be said, for now we can only speculate.
Within the dream, within the Double
It has been established since the original anime that the witches’ projection was related to the desires that led to suffering. In other words, your world is the extension of your pain. The state Double Since it is a state where the power of the inner witch of each Magical Girl is controlled, it is not surprising that they can do this projection, after all, they can be said to be witches (I say this for the sake of simplicity). In this way, Yachiyo and Kuroe’s interference in Iroha’s dreams is justified.
Iroha’s mind is manipulated by itself, by her pain, and creates a world in which there is no such thing and in which she can get along with her friends without an argument, even if they get along badly in the real world. It is correct to point out that Iroha does not want to suffer in the end, who does not create his utopias in his head?
Don’t want to lose
Who likes to lose? Except in exceptional cases, the majority do not like the thought of losing especially people, but of losing a family member. We fight to the best of our ability to make amends for such a loss. Isn’t the intention of Iroha and Gendo Ikari, Shinji’s father, the same? We create lies, fictions, we end up believing them because they make us feel safe, because we don’t want to be broken. We want to rearrange the world or the universe (like Madoka in the films and also Gendo), but when we can’t, we seek refuge in ourselves.
Iroha is broken, she does not want to lose her sister, in any case she does not want to lose her memory and she does not want to lose her happiness, so she lives in a world of lies, fabricates fantasies so as not to cry or die for her memory. And this cuddly toy replaces its sister, because it needs something sensitive, visible and tangible to be healthy. The lies are yours.
New but fake
Your happy world is new but wrong. As much as history repeats itself, someone touches reality, in that sense Iroha and Shinji are the same. With the first, it’s Yachiyo who gets her out of her comfort zone; with the second, it’s a bunch of people that makes him move on. Both protagonists fight for others because it was their decision, so they fight for themselves and for what they believe in.
The destruction of a rumor or a witch is not very different from that of an angel, both of which open up possibilities for those who have fought. In the end, the point is to move on and not cover the sun with your finger because that way we are only taking selfish actions that affect others who may be unrelated. People are irreplaceable, Iroha knows that, so he accepts his defeat (his Double). Now all you have to do is go ahead and try to have one happy end, on: Omedetou gozaimasu Iroha-san.
Sorry if it seems difficult to read, the chapter lends itself well to this type of analysis. We also take into account that the franchise is from Madoka it’s psychological. Speaking of girls, maybe it will appear in the next chapter. Don’t wait any longer.
