Faced with the throbbing threat that Naoya will fall in love with Rika, Saki tries to devise a plan to get her attention and keep her from falling from the “busty” charms. So, with the help of her mother, Saki creates the perfect plan. Disguised as a rabbit, Saki meets Naoya, who doesn’t bother him despite the sudden situation. On the occasion of taking a closer look at the sensuality of the suit on Saki’s body, however, due to a small problem, it does not go so far that her promise is broken.
The next day, Nagisa sees Saki’s cheerful mood suspiciously. Discover the truth by finding the rabbit costume in the dirty clothes. So he speaks to Naoya to confirm what happened. This is how she learns about the possibility that her loved one might like cosplay. So Nagisa wears a servant cosplay. But Naoya’s reaction and reaction to it only lets Rika realize that she really loves him.

Chances are I like cosplay …
While Kanojo mo Kanojo – In Chapter 7, two important events occurred in the “plot” (relating to the fanservice) that were not originally intended to occur in this timeline. But I’m not going to talk about the evolution of the story. Not now.
These mini “arches” from Saki disguised as Bunny girl and Nagisa disguised as Maid they were quite pleasing to the eye. However, I feel like the characters had more potential to show off. for example, changing the cosplay in question would have helped reveal a new facet of the character. A submissive and obedient Saki looking for her master and a sexy and provocative Nagisa looking for a big carrot to eat.
Personally, I think this would have been a better way to use cosplay. Especially nagisas. While Maids looks pretty good on her, I have a feeling that it suits her so well that it seems “normal” to her. Given the character’s personality and actions, Nagisa was already a kind of maid. The only explosive touch he had Kanojo mo Kanojo – Chapter 7 was the one who mentioned “master” in his sentences in his character as a maid wearing the cosplay.
For her part, Saki didn’t look bad in her costume. Bunny girl, but this cosplay design seemed pretty common / clichéd to me. A design that, in my opinion, helps accentuate the luscious areas of the character, breasts and buttocks. Something that Saki is missing, especially on the breasts. Perhaps a much sexier and more revealing style would have helped her show off her slim figure due to the constant movement that the basketball club brings with it.

So I think that they could have changed the adaptation a little in both scenes in order to increase the impact of the protagonists in their moments. Increase fan services in both cosplays.
Well, to talk a little about the evolution of the story. It had already been seen in previous episodes that the adjustment had some minor changes in spacetime. Something that, although I implement “arcs” that shouldn’t happen yet, in my opinion doesn’t go very quickly. In fact, I find that it has good speed. I see the speed of the plot in the adaptation as correct, but I still know that it is ‘in front’, which gives me a bad feeling of wanting to incorporate more story than necessary so that the ending is original or is closed without the Possibility of a second season.
Perhaps the biggest complaint I have about the plot of the series is that I felt like the main arc (which was supposed to be Rika discovering her feelings for Naoya) was very much in the background Kanojo mo Kanojo – Chapter 7. Less screen time than the mini “arcs” of Saki rabbit and Nagisa maid.
I really hope that my guess is wrong. I would like to see the absurd comedy of adapted Kanojo mo Kanojo.
i am inevitable …
What he feared most would happen in Kanojo mo Kanojo it is beginning to show itself on a large scale. I mean the drop in animation quality. The first episode of the series was pretty good at animation, either the aesthetic with the setting or the one in which there was movement. But the consequences that followed were acceptable, almost good.
Nevertheless, Kanojo mo Kanojo – In my opinion, Chapter 7 had the only animation the series has shown so far. the proportion of characters made no sense in the vast majority of their appearances, no matter who it was. The movements seemed very “cut”, robotic and I would even say hasty.
For example, the whole animation with Saki’s mother seemed very bad to me. The character drawing / design was acceptable as it didn’t have a lot of detail. But what “bothered” me the most (not the aggressive feeling, but rather a nuisance) was the position of the arm when the character tried to hide his mouth. A common body expression in the anime that goes perfectly with the scene and character. However, it may not be due to the perspective of the shot or it really is a flaw in it, but I have a feeling that his arm is much smaller than it should be.
From then on I began to see more and more of the proportions problems in the characters. Sometimes with a more pointed face, others with an irregular size in the extremities, or others where the characters looked strange when they were profiled.
Of course, what I like about animation is that it still shows potential in first-person recordings. Either with close-ups of the characters’ faces to see their facial expressions, or moments in which you can “experience” what is going to happen. More precisely, when Saki, who has disguised herself as a bunny, wants to sit down. The animation wasn’t perfect in this scene, but it was still my favorite Kanojo mo Kanojo – Chapter 7.
We are barely past half of the season, there is still time to discover the animation quality in the adaptation. But I feel like it’s going the same way as the first season of Gotoubun no Hanayome. Great quality at the beginning of the series, then became acceptable and showed deformation in the characters or objects at the end. Always maintain good quality in facial scenes in which only the characters’ facial expressions were shown.
