25 years after the debut of Yu-Gi-Oh! A new manga series, Shueisha, will debut on Weekly Shonen Jump. From what has surfaced on the net, a new manga about Duel Monsters!

In 2022, Yu-Gi-Oh! Go Rush, eighth season of the anime series. However, this won’t be the only debut of the year for the franchise. Apparently Shueisha will serialize one new manga from Yu-Gi-Oh!. At the moment, many details are still unknown, including the names of the authors.

The next Yu-Gi-Oh! manga will debut on V-Jump, Shueisha’s monthly magazine, which includes well-known works such as Boruto: Naruto the Next Generations and Dragon Ball Super. Early indications are that this next series will focus on that Lore of Duel Monsters cards. So, most likely, we’ll see alternating stories about the brand’s most iconic monsters, like the Black Wizard or the Blue-Eyes White Dragon. Whether these mini-stories will surround more complex events isn’t clear yet.

This would be a first for the saga that fandom could welcome. In fact, the anime has explored that in the past Origins of some famous maps, but never in depth. For Yu-Gi-Oh! a new world could open up.
