On the official site for the manga adaptation of the light novels written by Carlo Zen and illustrated by Shinobu Shinotsuki, Youjo Senki, the cover of the manga's nineteenth compilation volume, which will be published in Japan on July 21, was revealed.

Zen started publishing the novels on the website Arcadia in 2012 and finalized in 2013. The publisher Kadokawa The paper publication with illustrations by Shinobu Shinotsuki began in October 2013 and the publisher published the twelfth volume on February 20.

The work is being adapted to manga by Chika toujou, who publishes it in the magazine Comp Ace from the Kadokawa publishing house since April 2016. The publishing house published the eighteenth compilation volume on April 25.

Additionally, the novels also inspired a twelve-episode anime adaptation produced by the studios. NUT, under the direction of Yutaka Uemura and scripts written by Kenta Ihara, released in January 2017. An animated film featuring the same production team was released in February 2019.

Synopsis of Youjo Senki

Tanya Degurechaff is a young and infamous soldier, famous for her predatory cruelty and incredible tactical ability, earning herself the nickname "The Devil of the Rhine." Beneath her sweet appearance, however, lies the soul of a man who challenged Being X, the self-proclaimed God, to a battle of wits, which resulted in her reincarnation as a little girl in a magical war world.

Filled with rage, Tanya decides to rise through the armed ranks of her country's navy as the world war breaks out, and only Being X proves to be the strongest obstacle standing between her and a peaceful life. But their perceptive actions and their combat initiative have a side effect: they drive the Empire to become the most powerful nation in humanity.
