There Publishing in Weekly Shonen Jump is tough. Even the most seasoned writers break down if they fail to keep the public eye high. However, once conquered, the manga will stay in the ranks for a long time and become one of the most popular products of the moment.
Unfortunately that failed Shakunetsu no Niraikanai (Hard Boiled Cop and Dolphin) by Ryuhei Tamura, the former author of Beelzebub and Hungry Marie. In fact, it was announced that the publication of this manga on Weekly Shonen Jump ended in # 29, with chapter 47 last. Another veteran who therefore has to leave the ranks earlier than expected, as most recently with Build King by Mitsutoshi Shimabukuro and Samurai 8 by Masashi Kishimoto.
For a manga that goes there are of course different mangas that come in. Above Weekly Shonen Jump two new writers are ready to debut which will arrive in the next few weeks.
- Red Hood by Kawaguchi Yuki will debut at # 30 on Monday, June 28, 2021. The manga is the serialization of the eponymous oneshot that was published in the same magazine in 2020 and won the Gold Future Cup competition for beginners.
- NERU – Martial Arts Street – is the second manga to be released in the coming weeks. Written and drawn by Hiraga Minya, it will arrive in the magazine on July 5th, 2021. Here, too, NERU has already appeared in the digital edition of the magazine as a mini-series with a few chapters, which has been somewhat successful, but this time its publication will take a long time.
It is not yet known if any more manga will be canceled to make room for new entries as Jujutsu Kaisen has taken a long hiatus.
