Confirming that the manga was written and illustrated by Kentaro miura, Berserkwill not have a new chapter in the 17th edition of the magazine this year Young animal from the publisher Hakusenshait was confirmed again that work will return to its usual breaks.

It should be noted that the work published two chapters this year (as opposed to 2019, where it published only one), in Combined Issues 9 and 10 on April 24, and in Issue 15 on 22. July.

For his part, Miura began publishing the manga in the magazine in 1989 Monthly animal house by Hakusensha-Verlag, later published in 1992 in Young Animal magazine. The publisher published the fortieth volume compiled in September 2018.

The work inspired a 25-episode anime adaptation that was released in October 1997 and produced by the studios. OLMas well as a trilogy of films entitled Berserker: Ougon Jidai hen released in February 2012, June 2012 and February 2013. The series was then adapted again by the studios to anime GEMBA and released in July 2016 with 24 episodes.

Berserk synopsis

The story follows Guts, a superhumanly strong warrior who wields a large sword as he wanders through a dark medieval world teeming with demons, corrupt and decadent nobles, and other horrors. Every night he is attacked by demons, attracted by the curse that has been imposed on him due to a traumatic event from the past.

This is how Guts sets off on his way through the world to murder an old friend who became a demon and took everything away from him.
