The last chapter of Attack of the Giants dates back to April 2021, almost two years ago. Since then, Author Hajime Isayama stood out a lot from his world and from manga in general, only returned from time to time to talk about his creature and draw his characters on the occasion of some fairs and congresses.
But now the dark developments of The Attack of the Giants 4 return, the final season, which will consist of two parts for the grand finale. The story follows Eren Jaeger and his friends Mikasa and Armin as they fight to protect their city and people from giants, monstrous creatures that have invaded the world and destroyed many lives. As time progresses, Eren and his friends discover a disturbing truth about giants and their connection to the world's past. Well, all of this will come down to an ending that he has seen Eren becomes the true enemy of the worldnot only in a twist.
To mark the occasion, Hajime Isayama returns a special Attack on Titan illustration that lands on the cover by Bessatsu Shonen Magazine, the magazine that has hailed the work for 12 years. There is the whole group of protagonists, antagonists and soldiers who took part in the war between humanity and the giants, both alive and dead, with some choices that also affect the future of some characters. As can be seen below left, the anime is also mentioned, but there isn't much relevant information.
Attack of the Giants will return to NHK with the first part of the very latest season on March 3, 2023, with further details to be revealed in the future.
