After a short introduction, Chapter 1042 of ONE PIECE is about the mishap of Vinsmoke family on Whole Cake Island with Oven taking the book to HQ with Niji and Yonji, It starts with the clash between X-Drake and the boss of CP0. From the first cartoon it is clear that the clash is at its peak when the Navy captain inflicts a serious injury on the secret agent. However, the latter does not give up and, after breaking free, hits the dinosaur in the neck with a shigan and punches it.
The rest of the chapter is almost exclusively dedicated to the fight between Luffy and Kaido. We move to the roof of Onigashima, where Luffy continues to hit Kaido with many high-speed punches. One of them is stopped by the Emperor’s Kanabo, but he is simultaneously hit by three other attacks that fail to stop him. Despite Luffy’s attacks, Kaido remains confident and suddenly enters the game “Looking for love” mode of his drunkenness.
Luffy slaps him in the face and Kaido makes a sensual expression that touches his lips. Luffy gets angry and yells that he’s still drunk, but Kaido starts dodging the opponent’s attacks. Kaido suddenly transforms into a dragon and begins moving his body, mimicking and penetrating Luffy’s attacks “drunk thief” mode. He then gives Luffy a ferocious bite that screams and bleeds.
Kaido is still floating in his mouth with Luffy, but the protagonist strikes and breaks free. Kaido continues to fly and then fires a Boro Breath aimed at Luffy, hitting him full-on and causing him to traverse all of Onigashima from top to bottom. The Mugiwara falls though transforms with the Boundman to get back upstairs. Luffy knows he doesn’t have much time left and all This is the last fourth gear he can use.
Both prepare their attacks, with Luffy striking with the first About Kong Guncauses the Boro Breath of kaido in his mouth. The Emperor, however, enters a hybrid form, instantly surprising the enemy and hitting them with theHourai Hakkean expanded version of the Raimei Hakke. Luffy falls to the ground and begins to lose air from his mouth, but covers it to avoid the Gear Fourth losing any more power. Now Kaido is there drunk “murderous” mode and both prepare for another attack.
In the very last phase of this ONE PIECE fight, Luffy and Kaido prepare their attacks, but the CP0 leader arrives on the roof and blocks Luffy, causing him to fully suffer Kaido’s attack. The Emperor is stunned and remembers the end of the clash with Oden. What impact will this intervention have on the battle that the next Pirate King will decide?
