ONE PIECE 1028 on Manga Plus: a dinosaur in Onigashima, Sanji’s challenge

With the last appointment ONE PIECE, Eiichiro Oda had left us with a new fight in Onigashima. As Citizens watch the sky light up after the cut left by Luffy and Kaido, the focus has temporarily shifted to Zoro and King to make way for a new battle in Chapter 1028, now Manga Plus.

Chapter 1028, entitled Brachiosaurus, starts with a gorgeous color table in which Nami and Usopp want to play some sort of Super Smash Bros., with multiple references to historical Nintendo sagas like The Legend of Zelda and Donkey kong.

From the first page we learn of the decisions of the world government regarding the possible defeat of Kaido. The first step would actually be the annexation of the country Wa, and several naval ships are already being directed there. Take us back to the goban, where the CP0s still define the winning statistics, let’s see how the battle is currently developing between 12,000 of Kaido’s men and 8,000 rebels and samurai.

Rob Lucci communicates with the agents in Wano, who orders the capture of Nico Robin regardless of the end of the war. The scene changes to Momonosuke trying to figure out how to slow down and Avoid the fall of Onigashima in the capital of flowers. Meanwhile, Yamato, transformed, arrives from outside the island to try to eliminate the explosives present in the Skull Dome and to limit the explosion that could be triggered by the encounter with the surface.

Oda shows us for the first time Yamato’s complete transformation into a wolf, who attracts the attention of those present. Inside the castle, Sanji faces Queenwho, after provoking Vinsmoke by asking him to put on the raid suit, turns into a giant brachiosaurus that captures the Mugiwara and holds it in a potentially fatal grip.

After a sudden attack, Sanji frees himself and initially appears as a zombie, but manages to regain total control of his body as he thinks it is him to have awakened a very special ability. The chapter ends with Sanji ready to face Queen again. Finally, we leave you with a fantastic cosplay dedicated to Yamato.
