Earlier this month, Hagiwara announced that the play had entered its final story arc. On the other hand, the author started to publish the manga in the application Comic days from the publisher Kodansha in April 2019. The publisher published the fifth compilation volume on August 11th and the sixth on November 11th in Japan. In mid-October there were more than 800,000 copies in circulation.
Musume no Tomodachi Synopsis
Kosuke lived by interpreting his “ideal self” as a father at home and a manager at work. However, his life turns 180 degrees when he meets his daughter’s boyfriend. In front of her Kosuke could show his true personality and his exhausted heart finally knew peace.
He knows, however, that these are feelings that should never be sustained, let alone revealed. Thus begins the story of an older man who meets a younger girl who now has to hide her love from modern society. Then what will fate mean for Kosuke, since he is an older man with a full life? Will he fall into the fruit of temptation?
