Written and illustrated by the manga on the official Twitter account for Kore Yamazaki, Mahoutsukai no Yome (The bride of the old magus) unveiled the cover of the fifteenth compilation volume, due for release in Japan on March 10th.

Yamazaki began publishing the manga in the magazine Monthly comic blade from the publisher Likes garden in November 2013 and made it into the magazine Monthly cartoon garden in September 2014 where it is still being released. The publisher released the fourteenth compiled volume on September 10 in Japan.

The piece inspired a 24-part anime adaptation of Wit studio, Headed by Norihiro Naganuma and scripts written by Aya Takaha, released in October 2017. So far there is no confirmation for a second season.

Synopsis of Mahoutsukai no Yome

Hatori Chise is barely 16 years old, but she has lost far more than most. With no family or hope, all doors seem closed to them. However, a chance encounter began to turn the rusty wheels of fate. In her darkest moment, a mysterious wizard appears in front of Chise and offers her an opportunity she couldn't refuse. This magician, who seems closer to the devil than to humans, will he bring her the light she is desperately looking for, or will he drown her in ever deeper shadows?
