The manga series written and illustrated by Yousuke Kaneda, Kishuku Gakkou no Juliet, has exceeded 3.7 million copies in circulation. This was confirmed by the author himself through his Twitter account.

Kaneda began publishing the manga in the magazine Bessatsu Shonen Magazine from the publisher Kodansha in 2015, and later moved the publication to the magazine Weekly Shonen Magazine from the same publisher in 2017. The work ended in September 2019 and the publisher compiled the manga in a total of 16 volumes.
The manga inspired a twelve-episode anime adaptation produced by the studios. LIDEN FILMS under the direction of Seiki Takuno and scripts written by Takao Yoshioka, and released in October 2018.
Synopsis of Kishuku Gakkou no Juliet
The story follows two students from two different nations attending Dahlia Academy, as a forbidden love blossoms between them. Romio Inuzuka lives in the dormitory of the Tōwa Nation; while in the bedroom of the Principality of the West lives his lover and eternal enemy, Juliet Percia.
