the culling game, a terrifying tournament organized by Kenjaku, causes losses and casualties in the various colonies to which the participants have been sent. After the final clip of the clash between Megumi and Reggie in Jujutsu Kaisen 173, Against Akutami changes perspective and shows us the Sendai colony.
the Chapter 173 had opened with the conclusion of the clash between megumi and Reggie the latter giving the former his points as the last good deed just to die. Then it continued with the intermittent fighting hazenoki and Takaba to then arrive in Sendai Colony.
Here the clashes have reached a level of brutality not at all comparable to what was seen in the Tokyo colonies. At the center of this unprecedented violence were four participants, who were quickly presented with special tables and descriptions in Chapter 173.
The first is Dhruv Lakdawalla, a 91-point veteran in his second reincarnation, skilled enough to conquer the civil war archipelago of Wa alone. He has two independent shikigamis that form his domain through their trajectories.
After we found Ryu Ishigoriwith 77 points, described as the competitor with the strongest cursed power, and Takako Uro, former captain of a group of assassins who can control the skies with her cursed technique. It currently holds 70 points.
Finally, we are confronted with the mysterious and disturbing Kurourushi, a cursed cockroach spirit released by Kenjaku himself. He has 54 points and is a “registered” special rank cursed ghost. It is currently dormant and will reactivate under certain conditions.
Together, these units could have posed a major threat that would be almost impossible for other competitors to counter. But another powerful sorcerer managed to take Dhruv’s life, thus becoming a new threat himself. This wizard is none other than Yuta Okkotsu, who is making his big comeback in manga after shining in Jujutsu Kaisen 0.
In this chapter, it is Kuroushi who awakens and confronts Okkotsu. But we will see a clash in the next chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen.
