On the way to her induction ceremony at Sainotama Girls’ Preparatory School, Akane Kikuchi reflects on her elementary school dream of becoming a manga artist and the lack of progress she has made. When she finally arrives at school, she is shocked to learn that she is back in the same class as her two best friends: expressionless and emotionless Shiori Saginomiya and hyperactive and ridiculous Nozomu Tanaka.
