Summary of Hajime no Ippo
Makunouchi Ippo has been a victim of harassment her entire life. Constantly running errands and getting beaten up by his classmates, Ippo always dreamed of changing, but never had the passion to act accordingly. One day, Ippo is rescued by Takamura Mamoru, who turns out to be a boxer. Ippo passed out from his injuries and was taken to the Kamogawa boxing hall to recover. When he regains consciousness, he is in awe and awe of his new gym environment, even though he lacks the confidence to try something.
Takamura places a photo of Ippo’s classmate on a punching bag and forces him to hit him. Only then does Ippo feel something in him and finally asks Takamura to train him in boxing. Thinking Ippo doesn’t have what it takes, Takamura assigns him a task that he thought was impossible and gives him a week’s notice. With a sudden desire to get stronger for him and his working mom, Ippo trains tirelessly to get the job done within the time limit. This is how Ippo’s journey to the top of the boxing world begins.
