Black Clover is one of Weekly Shonen Jump’s flagship manga. After the failure of Hungry Joker in 2012-2013, it took Yuki Tabata a few years to reflect and build a new story, initially tested with a self-contained chapter. From there the story of Black Clover was born, featuring a boy with no magic in an entirely magical world.
A lot of water has passed under the bridge, and Black Clover’s popularity has led him to be a franchise that spans various media. However, the manga remains the cornerstone of it all, but it won’t last much longer. As is known, the author has explained that Black Clover is in the final saga, with the last enemy to defeat. However, Asta’s troubles are currently suffering a temporary halt.
The first leaks of Weekly Shonen Jump #10, the number that must contain chapter 350 of the manga, have already hit the web. The chapter is there, but beyond that there is already a message received from those who took possession of the magazine ahead of its time: Black Clover is on hiatus for a week.
It’s now routine for Yuki Tabata to take a break every two months or at least depending on the situation. The same goes for Kohei Horikoshi, Eiichiro Oda and Gege Akutami, or the magazine’s most famous mangakas. So there’s nothing to worry about as Black Clover is skipping the Sunday 12th February release to return with Black Clover 351 on February 19, 2023both in the Japanese magazine and on the Western Manga Plus platform.
