The Knights of the Zodiac are numerous, with the story mainly revolving around five bronze horsemen. As it turns out very soon, in the saga written and drawn by Masami Kurumada, which is still ongoing with some spin-offs and bangaihen, there are also much stronger knights that play a special role.
In addition to the warriors with bronze and silver armor, responding to the constellations of the sky, there are also the golden knights, related to the twelve signs of the zodiac. These have twelve “houses”, each protected by a golden knight. The first house is that of Aries, where the armor of the first constellation of the zodiac is located. Although in the saga of the twelve houses these are almost all enemies, Aries is an ally of the protagonists of Saint Seiya.
The armor is worn by Mu, a quiet man with a slightly androgynous appearance, with long purple hair and two red symbols on his forehead. In it, the man becomes the woman Aries cosplay from The Knights of the Zodiac made by Momo who changed a few details to match the costume.
Obviously, besides the knights, there are also the gods, and there is not only Athena. A spin-off of The Knights of the Zodiac about Poseidon is coming soon.
