Neon Genesis Evangelion is Hideaki Anno’s most famous work. Even if he has produced other souls, this remains his cornerstone, the work that made him immortal. At the heart of the story are many characters full of unsolved problems and difficulties, including in particular the so-called children.
Asuka Soryu Langley is one such main character in Neon Genesis Evangelion. Asuka is an Eva pilot and joins NERV, the organization that fights monsters called the Angels. Asuka is Japanese-German and grew up in a special environment that has influenced her character and makes her strong and proud, at least in appearance. Beneath her outer shell, however, Asuka hides a deep insecurity and a desperate need to be loved and cherished, much like what happens with the other Children proxies who run the EVAs.
However, thanks to NERV, which also includes a school for children in its gigantic base in Neo-Tokyo 3, he manages to have moments of normal life. And that’s where Asuka comes in after her introduction she saw in the fight. Along with Shinji, Rei, and the other children, he attends school classes when he doesn’t have to fight the angels or Practice with his Evangelion flaming red.
And Peppy only offers one Cosplay of Asuka with the girls’ school uniform, consisting of a white and light blue apron, with a red bow. A simple cosplay but consistent with the character featured in Neon Genesis Evangelion considering both the TV series and the Rebuild of Evangelion tetralogy.
