The development of Jojo’s bizarre adventure was very pronounced, thanks largely to the introduction of the stands in the third series, Stardust Crusaders. Jotaro’s adventure is considered to be one of the highlights of Araki’s work, and this is due to the presence of unforgettable characters alongside the protagonist such as Jean Pierre Polnareff.
First Polnareff only seems interested in avenging his sister Sherry, killed by J. Geil, the man with two right hands and owner of the Stand Hanged Man. As soon as he finds and kills the killer, Jean Pierre decides to follow Jotaro on his journey to Egypt and becomes one of his best allies until the final confrontation with Dio Brando.
Polnareff will also return in the fifth part, Vento Aureo, to be brutally defeated by Diavolo, the head of the Passione mafia organization. Because of the tough fight, Polnareff loses several parts of his body, and after a strange series of events it will end up in a turtle’s body, permanent ally of Giorno Giovanna. A character with this path cannot help but be a fan favorite and a fan has decided to pay homage to him with the spectacular cosplay that you can see in the picture at the bottom of the page.
The cosplayer Jannetincosplay has very good the design of Polnareff. replicated, with special attention to the hair and earrings in the shape of a broken heart and to the Reproduction of shadows in perfect Araki style. Let us know what you think of this cosplay with a comment below.
