Hirohiko Araki is known around the world for 1987 Jojo's bizarre adventure, manga series that consists of numerous parts. The series quickly gained popularity for its unique combination of action, adventure, and humor, coupled with its over-the-top aesthetic and innovative use of color.
The series follows the story of several generations of the Joestar family and their adventures against various supernatural enemies, not only from the print format at the time, but also from television. L'Jojo's Bizarre Adventure anime is produced by David Production and first aired in 2012 and was acclaimed by critics and fans alike for its fidelity to the manga and outstanding animation. The series also gained notoriety for its epic soundtrack and iconic one-liners, which were lacking in the early 1990s adaptations. The achieved success allowed the animators to continue to the latest series.
Stone Ocean is the sixth installment in the Jojo series and follows the story of Jolyne Kujo, daughter of Jotaro Kujo, protagonist of the third part of the series. Wrongfully imprisoned for a crime she didn't commit, Jolyne must fight her way in and out of prison and battle supernatural enemies to prove her innocence. Jolyne Kujo is the only female lead in the Jojo series and as such brings some variety. Strong, intelligent and determined, the girl never gives up in the face of adversity and immediately becomes a point of reference, as evidenced by the various goods offered in Japan dedicated to Jolyne.
The Jolyne Kujo Cosplay created by Liv was a perfect way for fans to see the character again, as Stone Ocean has now discovered. Respecting the full Jojo style, Liv has created a character with bright colors and features that are typical of Araki's design.
