The new era of the Marvel mutants, conceived by John Hickman, began with the creation of the nation of Krakoa, an island on which X-Men they can live freely and far from the jurisdiction of the earth. The price for this freedom was not high, but now Arakko’s “brothers” have set themselves the goal of conquering an entire planet.
In the first volume of Planet size X-Men Mutants actually claim sovereignty on Mars to give the residents of Arakko a new home and also to make important galactic deals. The rotation occurred during the Hellfire Gala, where Magneto, Vulcan, Iceman and Tempesta have joined forces to breathe new life into the now dead planet, to create a new atmosphere and thus make the surface habitable.
They also used their skills to transport Arakko Island from Earth to Mars. The first step the mutants took was naming them Planet Arakko to this place and immediately regards it as the capital of the entire solar system. This is where the diplomats actually become they will discuss issues of galactic concern. Defense structures are also being built here to counteract extraterrestrial invasions.
Of course, the Earthlings weren’t that enthusiastic. So Mutants so much power it could lead to big problems, and it could just be the beginning of the events told in the new X-Men series that arrives in July.
Keep in mind a historic 90s villain is back in action and we’ll leave you the details of the Trial of Magneto series.
