The postponement of Uzumaki’s anime came out of the blue, but luckily fans of the master of horror Junji Ito You don’t have to wait long for the series to arrive. The anime is actually in the post-production phase, or at least this seems to indicate the “behind the scenes” footage shared by Adult swim.
Below you can see the pictures showing the dubbing booth, the first screens of the work (where the end result of the black and white animations are finally visible), an actress at work and much more. We remind you that synchronization and music are usually done once the execution phase is complete, which is to literally animate each of the episodes to be broadcast.
The anime was due to appear in 2020, but Adult Swim and Production I.G recently announced a postponement for unknown reasons. Of course, the health emergency slowed down the work somewhat, but since there are only four episodes, the arrival of the series is hardly postponed beyond the winter of 2020/2021.
