In early 2020, a very special year for Weekly Shonen Jump, Undead Unluck debuted to some controversy. Two and a half years after the first publication The manga is one of the titles that will receive an anime in the next period. The success achieved was actually enough to convince the creation of the adaptation.

We start with one Poster confirming Undead Unluck’s arrival in 2023. At the center of the prepared illustration are Andy and Fuko, the two protagonists who are endowed with powers of negation, meaning they can deny an aspect of reality.
However, the biggest news concerns them Studio that will adapt Undead Unluck. This battle is handled by Shonen David Productions, a name known for its association with all of The Bizarre Adventures of Jojo’s series, but who has recently successfully adapted other manga like Fire Force as well. They will then be the ones to turn Yoshifumi Tozuka’s manga into anime.
