During the annual edition of the Kadokawa Light Novel Expo Several news related to the works of Rui Tsukiyo, author of the controversial Redo of Healer, have been announced. Most important of these is the release of a new anime based on the novel The best assassin in the worldand the arrival of a spin-off of his great work called Hospitality of Healer.

The new anime series comes from the light novel The best assassin in the world is reborn as an aristocrat in another world, started in 2018 and is currently in progress with 6 published volumes. The anime will debut in July and will be animated by Silver Link, who is already working on the second season of Bofuri and The Misfit of Demon King Academy 2.

The best assassin in the world is the second of Tsukiyo's three works, less sadistic than Redo of Healer, but still violent and sometimes misogynistic. The work tells the deeds of an ancient and deadly murderer who is brought back to life by a goddess immediately after betrayal and death. The man is reborn in a boy's body and given the name Lugh Tuatha Dé. The task entrusted to him by his savior is simple: kill a hero of legendary strength before he destroys the world.
