the Walking Dead is one of the most famous titles on the world comics scene, a series that has captivated millions of readers around the world. The author, Robert Kirkman, has repeatedly changed the cards on the table of the uncertain story of the work’s success, starting with the first volume with the fate of Rick Grimes.
A few months ago, Kirkman had already revealed the originally planned start of The Walking Dead, an idea that was later discarded due to the contradiction of the then editor of Picture comics. However, when Kirkman began planning the issue in 2004, the work suddenly grew in popularity, which would certainly have benefited a possible second installment of 6 issues. Despite the sudden change in opinion, the author announced that he was taking it seriously the idea of ββkilling Rick in the first volume. Overall, the original plan was to have Carl, unbeknownst to anyone, witness Shane’s murder of his father, creating an ambiguous and anxious relationship between the two characters.
