On the official page for the original anime Aniplex and Studio VOLN, Back arrowDistribution information for the compiled Blu-ray / DVD volumes has been released, which also confirms that the series will have a total of 24 episodes.

The series has aired in Japan since January 8, and it had previously been confirmed that it would last two consecutive arcs, although the number of episodes had not been specified. So far, no platform has the global distribution rights. On the other hand, Blu-ray volumes are individually priced at 8,800 yen ($ 84) and DVD volumes are priced at 7,700 yen ($ 74).

Various Twitter accounts also published the animated opening and closing sequences of this original project. Although they are officially published on YouTube, Aniplex always blocks their content outside of Japan. The opening sequence contains the theme “Dawn” by LiSA.

On the other hand, the song “Sekai no Hate (セ カ イ ノ ハ ハ)” by is performed in the final sequence Shuka saitou.

  • Goro Taniguchi ((Code Geass – Hangyaku no Lelouch) is responsible for the direction of the anime in Studio VOLN.
  • Kazuki Nakashima ((Promise, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, Kill la kill) is responsible for writing and overseeing the scripts for each episode.
  • Toshiyuki Kanno is responsible for customizing the original designs from Shinobu ohtaka for animation and also serves as animation director.
  • Kouhei Tanaka is responsible for the composition of the soundtrack.
  • LiSA plays the opening song titled “Dawn” during Shuka saitou plays the final song entitled “Sekai no Hate (セ カ イ ノ ハ テ)”.

Back arrow synopsis

Ringarindo is a land surrounded by a wall. The wall covers, protects, cultivates and cares for this land. The wall is God … it is the foundation of this land of Ringarindo. One day a mysterious boy named Back Arrow appears in the town of Essha on the outskirts of Ringarindo. Arrow lost his memories, but only says that he knows, “I came from beyond the wall.” To restore his memories, Arrow goes over the wall, but gets into a fight with himself as it comes to the mission.
