Video games, anime and manga are the order of the day with all of the most iconic and beloved titles that have invaded the rest of the world for decades. And now that Quotes on the topic of Sailor Moon thanks to swimming.
The Olympics started with the acronyms Haikyu that accompanied volleyball or Slam Dunk that opened the basketball games, but now the anime quotes are hidden even in the final stages of an athletic performance. In the last swimming competition, the US champion Katie Ledecky, now dominant of these swimming competitions, has won another Olympic medal.
To celebrate her victory in the women’s 800 meter freestyle, she was honored with a video in which transforms into a sailor warrior from Sailor Moon. As seen in the video below from NBC Olympics on Twitter, the Ledecky has been redesigned in the signature style of world famous Naoko Takeuchi and wears a blue one-piece swimsuit with the word USA on the chest.
A tribute that joins all of the others presented during this event.
