The fourth season of Kimetsu no Yaiba is reportedly in production, according to a popular leaker. Although an official confirmation is still pending, the news comes as no surprise considering the success of the anime adaptation.
It is worth noting that the leaked information confirms that the next step in the project is another TV anime season, rather than a feature film adaptation like Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Train. This suggests a continuation of the story rather than a standalone movie.
Adapting the “Pillar Training Arc”
If confirmed, the fourth season would adapt the “Pillar Training Arc” from the original manga, which covers chapters 128 to 136. This short arc serves as a prelude to the final story arc, the “Final Battle Arc”. Could the fourth season be the last?
Current Season and Distribution
The third season of Kimetsu no Yaiba, titled “Katanakaji no Sato-hen,” is currently airing in Japan since April 9th. The streaming platform Crunchyroll is responsible for its distribution in the Western market.
