The animated adaptation of Fire Force, based on Atsushi Ohkubo’s acclaimed manga series, is heading toward its grand finale with the upcoming release of Season 3 Part 2.
During the latest announcement on the official website, it was confirmed that this final batch of episodes will premiere in January 2026, marking the definitive conclusion of the anime on television.
Confirmed Broadcast Platforms
In Japan, the anime will air on television first, with Netflix streaming each episode shortly after its broadcast.
Outside of Japan, Crunchyroll has confirmed that it will continue to stream the series worldwide through simulcasts.
Fire Force’s Legacy
With this last stage, Fire Force bids farewell as one of the most prominent Shōnen franchises in recent years, celebrated for its unique blend of frantic action, comedy, and drama.
Atsushi Ohkubo, also the creator of Soul Eater, concluded the original manga back in 2022, giving the anime team a complete story to adapt. This final season aims to bring the entire saga to a faithful and satisfying close, offering fans the definitive televised version of the series.
The decision to end the anime with a clearly defined conclusion reflects a growing trend in the industry: producing self-contained story arcs rather than leaving adaptations unfinished. By doing so, the creators ensure that Fire Force’s televised run remains consistent with Ohkubo-sensei’s original vision and avoids the pitfalls of incomplete adaptations.
