Synopsis for Dark Gathering

Keitarou Gentouga is a college student who hates ghosts. Unfortunately, he has the ability to attract ghosts. Two years ago, this connection led him to a spiritual wound on his right hand, putting his friend in the crossfire. The event caused him to withdraw into himself and left him with very few social skills. Luckily, thanks to the help of his childhood friend Eiko Houzuki, Keitarou is slowly starting to fit into society.

As part of his rehabilitation, Keitarou takes a part-time job as a tutor, and his first student is none other than Eiko’s cousin, Yayoi Houzuki. Aside from being a child prodigy, Yayoi has another special feature: she has a spiritual constitution, just like Keitarou. However, unlike Keitarou, she longs to meet ghosts in hopes of finding the ghost that kidnapped her mother. When Keitarou is dragged to haunted places by Yayoi and Eiko, his part-time job seems to drift further and further from its original purpose.
