On the official site for the franchise of MBS, GET UP! GET LIVE! It was announced that the series will have a total of twelve episodes. The anime has its premiere scheduled for July 10.
The series of shorts is titled GET UP! GET LIVE! #GeraGera and will feature super-deformed versions of the franchise characters. In addition, it is also inspiring two manga adaptations that will debut in this year’s issue # 10 of the magazine. Monthly Comic Zero-Sum from the publisher Ichijinsha next August 28, and on the website Zero-Sum Online next September 4.

Synopsis of GET UP! GET LIVE!
The story of the project centers on a group of aspiring comedians who enroll in the SSS (Super Star School), a talent agency for comedians. The story shows the friction and envy experienced within this industry, as well as the admiration of its veterans, their disappointments, and the obstacles they must overcome to succeed.
