A few years ago the magical piece of life story of The Ancient Magus Bride impressed many viewers. The WIT Studio anime ended up with 24 episodes airing between 2017 and 2018, but it certainly wasn’t enough to fully adapt the Kore Yamazaki manga, which is currently a work in progress on Comic Garden.

The conclusion of the first animated series led so WIT studio Making decisions to continue the story of Chise Hatori and her teacher and husband Elias Ainsworth. Over time, therefore, several OAVs were born, released irregularly and over a long period of time. WIT is currently working on the project The Ancient Magus Bride: West Boy And The Knight Of The Blue Storm, which will be divided into three episodes, the first of which will be released in September 2021.

To commemorate the release of the next two episodes of this three-part series, the series’ official account released the new one Keyframe from The Ancient Magus Bride: West Boy And The Knight Of The Blue Storm. In the picture you can see Chise and Elias, now inevitable protagonists, but also Gabriel. The next installment will be available with Volume 17 of the manga, while the third and final installment will be released in September 2022 to coincide with the release of the 18th tankobon.
