Teppen: Inujun and Namamugi’s comedy gets an anime adaptation

The official Twitter account of Monthly Bushiroad magazine announced that the manga written by Inujin and illustrated by Namamugi, based on the true story of the Japanese group Team Y, will be animated. The anime of Stepping !!! will debut later in 2022.

According to the first information that became known, Anime series will be titled Teppen !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, with fifteen exclamations, in contrast to the manga, in which there are only three. All of these punctuation marks seem to have one very precise meaning, currently still unknown.

Teppens Manga !!! was published in the magazine Monthly Bushiroad from Kadokawa from January 2021, but the great success has already sanctioned the production of an animated implementation. At this time, the animation studio or the staff who take care of it are not yet known, but the work should be done, barring any unforeseen events Debut later in the year. Stepping !!! tells the story of Yayoi Sakamoto, a Lover of comedy who enrolls at a private institute in Osaka. As they are preparing for a competition in a shopping mall, they are approached by a mysterious girl. The plot is inspired by the “Team Y” sisters who have over 120,000 subscribers on their YouTube channel.
