During the event AnimeJapan 2021 The first promotional video was released for the animated adaptation of the light novels written by Tooru Toba and illustrated by Fal Maro, Tensai Ouji no Akaji Kokka Saisei Jutsu ((The Genius Prince’s Guide to Raising a Nation out of Debt). The video shows the production team but has yet to confirm a planned release date.
For their part, Tooru Toba and Fal Maro began to publish the light novels through the publishing label GA Bunko from the publisher SB Creative in May 2018. A manga adaptation by the hand of Emuda and titled Souda, Baikoku Shiyou: Tensai Ouji no Akaji Kokka Saisei Jutsu, has been published since October 2019.
