On the official page for the animated adaptation of the manga by Tsuina miura and illustrated by Takahiro oba, Tenkuu Shinpan (High-rise invasion) the covers and details of the project’s Blu-ray BOX package were revealed.
The package will be released in Japan on December 24th and will include the entire series, i.e. twelve episodes. The package costs 33,000 yen (about $ 317) and benefits include an additional twenty-two-page manga from the authors, the project’s soundtrack CDs, a special booklet of production materials and illustrations, and commentary from the production team and cast.
The series premiered on the platform on February 25th Netflix worldwide and distributed simultaneously with the twelve episodes. On the other hand, Tsuina and Takahiro started to publish the manga in the application. Manga box in December 2013 and concluded in April 2019 with a total of 21 volumes. A sequel called Arrival in Tenkuu Shinpan is in the publication about the application Magazine pouch from the publisher Kodansha since July 2019.
Production team
- Masahiro Takada (Wake up girl Beyond the bottom, Yes ka no ka Hanbun ka) was responsible for directing the anime in the studios Zero-G.
- Touko Machida (7 seeds, Centaur no Nayami, Happy sugar life) was responsible for writing and overseeing the scripts.
- Youichi ueda (Gangsta.) was responsible for character design and animation direction.
- Tatsuo Yes Youichi sakai You were responsible for composing the soundtrack.
- The band rich played the opening song titled “HON-NO” while the band Have a good time! performed the end song entitled “Watashi no na wa Blue”.
Tenkuu Shinpan Summary
Watching a man’s head split open with an ax, 16-year-old Yuri Honjou shudders with fear and confusion as she flees from a masked assailant, only to find that she is trapped in an abandoned building where all doors are mysteriously locked. Desperate for a way out, Yuri runs up to the roof, but before her lies a world with no signs of life, surrounded by skyscrapers. Although she is desperate, Yuri decides to find him and leave together when she finds out that her brother is also there. However, he soon discovers that there are more masked assassins in the area who are terrorizing their new victims and trying to satisfy their most unhealthy desires.
