Tantei wa Mou Anime, Shindeiru Reveals New Visual and Confirms 12 Episodes

On the official page for the animated adaptation of light novels written by Nigojuu and illustrated by Umibouzu, Tantei wa Mou, Shindeiru (The detective is already dead) the sixth promotional image of the project was published. The press release confirmed that the series will debut on July 4th with a one-hour special.

It has also been confirmed that virtual YouTubers Shirakami Fubuki Yes Natsuiro Matsuri, both members of the agency Hololive production, they will appear in the third episode of the series. In the end, the project is confirmed with a total of twelve episodes, divided into three Blu-ray / DVD releases to be released in Japan on the following dates:

• Package 1 (episodes 1 to 4) – 11/26/2021.
• Package 2 (episodes 5 to 8) – 22.12.2021.
• Package 3 (episodes 9 to 12) – January 26, 2022.

Summary of Tantei wa Mou, Shindeiru

Kimizuka Kimihiko is a crisis magnet. From being caught at a crime scene to accidentally witnessing a drug deal, trouble seems to be around every corner. So it’s no wonder that your rather mundane flight suddenly falls into a state of emergency and urgently needs a detective on board. Unfortunately, his attempt to avoid trouble is thwarted by a beautiful silver-haired girl who goes by the name of Siesta. She declares herself a detective and unceremoniously pulls Kimizuka into the case as her assistant.

This incident marked the beginning of an adventure around the world that exceeded his wildest imagination. The two risked their lives, brought down criminal organizations, prevented disasters and saved thousands. But the curtain closed on his epic journey with Siesta’s untimely death three years later. This time, determined to live a normal life in high school, Kimizuka spends a year holding back. However, according to fate, a girl with an uncanny resemblance to siesta rushes into his life and threatens to ruin his days of peace.
