Tokusatsu is a word for Japanese television series with numerous special effects. In the west we usually associate it with such productions where one or more heroes collide with a giant monster, also called Kaiju. Well, many fans of these works in 2018 were stunned by the announcement of the production of an anime for the franchise Gridman the hyperagent 1993. Another new anime is coming up towards the end of 2020, linked to the same universe.
The Trigger Studio showed us a trailer and the official character designs from SSSS.Dynazenon beforehand. Currently, the production staff has released one new promotional video This will give you a great preview of what will be shown in the series. It was the same on the occasion of Tokyo Comic-Con 2020 showed the mecha protagonist of the workwhat you can see in the tweet reported at the bottom of the news.
From the new video we learn that the anime is being produced by the same staff who worked on the creation of SSSS.Gridman, which I share our impressions on, and is directed by Akira Amemiya. Finally, at the end of the trailer, the planned release date is confirmed April 2021.
