In this year's ninth issue of the magazine Young gangan It has been confirmed that the manga was written and illustrated by Shinichi Fukuda, Sono Bisque doll wa Koi wo Suru ((My favorite dress-up), will have an anime adaptation. The information had been previously announced and the magazine included a special illustration to commemorate the announcement, but did not include production details or a release date.

The issue also included a new collaboration with the gravure idol. Moe Ioriwho dressed in one of the outfits from the original manga.

Fukuda publishes the manga in the magazine Young gangan from the publisher Square enix since January 2018. The publisher published the fifth compiled volume in May 2020, followed by the sixth in November 2020 in Japan. The work is said to have circulated more than 1.8 million copies in October 2020.
