Cindy Moon is about to return the protagonist of a new comic series: Silk # 1 will debut on January 19, 2022. With the release of a preview, Marvel Comics gives us a first look at the new Silk series, curated by a creative team consisting of screenwriter Emily Kim and illustrator Takeshi Miyazawa.
Created in 2014 by Dan Slott and Humberto Ramos on the pages of The Amazing Spider-Man (Vol. 3) # 1, Silk is a character closely related to Spider-Man mythology: Cindy Moon was actually bitten by the same spider that gave Peter Parker powers. After spending much of her life imprisoned by the heir threats, Cindy Moon finally achieved freedom in the original Sin Saga, before finally facing the heirs along with the other Spider-Man in the hit Spider-Verse miniseries .
Afterward, the character’s popularity grewwhich led her to become the protagonist of three comic book series and a live action series dedicated to Silk that is currently in production. So what will debut in January 2022 will be the fourth volume of the adventures of Silk. Regarding what we’ll read on the show, Kim said, “Silk is in an existential crisis. She’s stressed out from work, both as a silk and as a journalist. He is looking for new ambitions and goals. It’s something that I hope will allow people to relate to, even if they don’t have spider powers“.
At the bottom, we’re releasing the preview of Silk # 1, available in the US from January 2022. While there aren’t any hypothetical release dates for the live-action adaptation yet, initial details about the Silk series have been leaked.
