The platform Netflix announced that it will add “Seasons” of the animated adaptation of the manga to its catalog in Latin America Yuuto Tsukuda and illustrated by Avoid Saeki, Shokugeki no Souma ((Food Wars !: Shokugeki no Soma) on December 1st. The statement did not reveal which seasons were added or whether they included Spanish dubbing.

In turn, Tsukuda and Saeki began to publish the manga in the magazine Weekly shonen jump from the publisher Shueisha in November 2012 they moved it to the magazine Jump Giga Completed in June 2019 and August 2019 with a total of 36 compiled volumes. The piece inspired several spin-off mangas.

Shokugeki no Souma Synopsis

Souma works with his father in the family restaurant. The young man dreams of being a better cook than his father. However, when he decides to close the restaurant to visit one of the best restaurants in Europe, he also presents him with a challenge: to be the best student at Tootsuki, the best private cooking school in all of Japan. From then on, Sōma has to put all the meat on the spit to study at one of the most sophisticated and competitive institutions in the world.
